Use of information

We do not store any information about you except that which we need to fulfil a work or goods contract with you. We do not share any information about you with any third party unless required to do so by law. You can opt in to receive offers and promotions from us, and may occasionally be prompted to do so.

Exclusion of liability

We shall not be held liable for failure to supply goods or carry out work where prevented from doing so by events outside of our control. This includes, but is not limited to, acts of war and terrorism, riots, natural disasters, customer vehicle or premises where work is to be carried out being seized or cordoned, goods lost or damaged in transit, and goods not supplied to us in time by our suppliers.

We shall not be held liable for defective work where the defect is caused by or arises from a nearby or linked part or assembly we did not work on (whether mechanical or electrical), previous work, or another party's incompetence, including but not limited to repairs to nearby or linked parts, "tuning" or modifying nearby or linked part or assembly (whether mechanical or electrical), and other unnecessary adjustments to standard vehicle set-up.

We shall not be held liable for any disputes arising from your failing to disclose or deliberately withholding relevant material facts, including but not limited to obtaining consent from the owner of the premises where work is to be carried out, and ownership of the vehicle.

Purchased services

Delivery. Due to the nature of the business, we will only deliver services within our working radius or on pre-agreed compensation basis (per mile or per hour).

Over-run. Where a job is more complicated or time-consuming than our initial estimate, we will either re-arrange the appointment(s) following yours so we can continue work on your vehicle, or secure your vehicle and its parts and return to continue the work at an agreed time.

Material facts and disclosure. We reserve the right to refuse to carry out work where there are material differences between what you told us about the vehicle, or its history, or the premises where work is to be carried out, and the actual facts.

Payment. We accept bank transfers and cash. We also accept credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal payments, at an additional charge of 1.75% of the invoice total. Payment can be made up-front or immediately upon completion of the work. For invoices over £1,100 we may, at our discretion and by prior arrangement only, offer the option of payment in instalments at 0% interest.

Guarantee. We guarantee our work using parts supplied by us, and all parts purchased from us (unless otherwise stated) for 12 months.

Purchased goods

Delivery. If you have purchased fitting along with the parts, we will bring your parts to the agreed appointment. Otherwise, we send goods by a variety of services including Royal Mail and couriers. Any additional costs associated with express delivery or any other non-standard option form a separate contract.

Loss or damage in transit. We will compensate you for lost or damaged goods if we receive compensation from the carrier. For that, you must provide us with as much information as possible in either case. For damaged goods, you must provide us with photographic evidence of the outside and inside of the package, as well as of the damage itself; you must also keep the damaged goods until the claim is settled. For lost goods, you must provide a written statement once the carrier's maximum allowable delivery period has elapsed.

Distance selling regulations (DSR). You have the right to return any goods purchased directly from us via our website, by e-mail or telephone, for a full refund for any reason within 14 days. The goods must be unused and in their original condition. Please contact us first to obtain returns authorisation. The return postage is at your expense. If the goods are faulty, and are found to be so by us upon receipt, we will either offer you a replacement at no additional cost, or a full refund as per your rights under DSR. It is your statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods and ensure they are packaged adequately for return.

Return of used goods. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods you purchase are suitable for your intended use. We will only accept return of used goods where they are faulty as covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Returns will not be accepted where fitting was attempted on an incompatible system or vehicle, any modifications were made in order to attempt fitting, or where poor fitting resulted in the part developing a fault.
